Welcome to the Chamber of Crafts Potsdam
The sector of craft represents a total number of 151 handicraft trades. The Chamber of Crafts Potsdam mentors about 17.500 small and medium-sized enterprises with approximately 70.000 employees and around 3.000 trainees.
We are an indispensable partner of our members, the general public and policy. In our function to support and to advice the members in their daily challenges we significantly contribute to the competitiveness of enterprises in the business sector craft.
The Chamber of Crafts Potsdam accomplishes the tasks to conduct the inter-company vocational education and training, master classes and further training courses. Several demand-actuated courses are offered in our affiliated Training Center in Götz.
The international project work is a main point in the field of education and further training. We traditionally work with institutions, organisations and educational establishments mostly from Poland, Italy, Spain, Russia and South Africa. Numerous delegations have been received over the last years. The international project work is exceedingly intense in the organisation and implementation of internships for trainees and further training courses for professionals.
The Chamber of Crafts Potsdam provides the opportunity to work together in international projects. We offer gaining knowledge about the German dual vocational education and training system (dual VET-system) and acquiring key skills in the workshops of our Training Center in Götz. The workshops are equipped with modern advanced technologies and we certify the successful conclusion of internships or further training courses.
